Employee Support Fund (ESF)
The Lansing Community College Employee Support Fund was established to
support employee emergency needs. Specifically, the fund is for LCC employees
who have experienced a severe and/or catastrophic event or situation and who are
in extreme or unusual circumstances as a result.
Awards are limited up to a maximum of $500 per request with a lifetime maximum
of $1,000 per employee. Assistance may be requested by the employee in need or
by a fellow employee by filling out the form below. Requests will only be
considered for cases concerning the employee or his/her immediate family.
Requests received by the committee will remain confidential and will be honored
if deemed appropriate and if funds are available.
Funding is generated through contributions from LCC employees via payroll
deductions and cash gifts. Contributions to this fund are NOT tax-deductible by
the donor, but rather a generous action on their part. While the Employee
Support Fund is managed by a team made up from members of the Employee
Development Fund committee, it is maintained separately and is not used for EDF
activities. Contributing to the Employee Support Fund does not make you a member
of the Employee Development Fund.
If you would like to contribute to the Employee Support Fund, please contact the
Foundation Office at (517) 483-1985.
If you have any questions, please call Bill Motz, EDF Chairperson at (517)
483-1540 or Beth Vanderlip, LCC Foundation at (517) 483-1986.
