New Important Dates for Fall Semester 2010
Lansing Community College is committed to helping students succeed. Research shows that students who plan for and register in courses well before the semester begins are more likely to get the classes they want and to successfully complete them. Therefore, LCC is changing important deadlines to better support students.
New students to Lansing Community College must submit an admissions application no later than Wednesday, August 18 in order to register for full semester classes that begin on Thursday, August 26. The processing of admission applications will resume on Thursday, September 2 for late-start courses.
We accept the following individuals for admission
- Adults 18 years of age or older (HS Diploma or GED NOT required for Adults 18 years of age or older.)
- High school graduates
- Current high school students in grades 9-12
- Current home school students ages 14-17
- International students
- Guest students from other colleges and universities
Three ways to apply
While waiting for your acceptance letter
- Find out more information on where to go to for assessment testing or to see if you have other test scores, completed courses, or degrees that may qualify you for a waiver.
- Sign up for student orientation to meet with an advisor, create a class schedule and recognize skills needed for your success. To attend orientation, you must pre-register on the Web or call the Counseling and Advising Center at (517) 483-1904.
