2008 A Nurse I Am Scholarship is now available via or website at www.ANurseIAm.com. The only requirements for students to apply is that they view the film, are enrolled in an accredited nursing program, and submit the application along with the scholarship essay .

AAMN Foundation Scholarships for Men
American Assembly for Men in Nursing (AAMN) Foundation and Johnson & Johnson's Campaign for Nursing's Future have partnered to offer a $1,000 scholarship program for male students pursuing professional nursing education programs. These scholarships are intended to support male students who are seeking a pre-RN licensure or graduate degree in nursing. Florence Nightingale Scholarship
The Healthcare Division of ASQ is pleased to announce the First Annual Florence Nightingale Scholarship. Florence Nightingale is widely acknowledged as the initiator of nursing as a profession. One scholarship, in the amount of $2000, will be awarded annually. The 2009 scholarship winner will be announced at the Quality Institute for Healthcare, May 18 - 20, 2009, in Minneapolis MN.

LCC Foundation Grants
The LCC Foundation awards grants in January for student projects occurring in Spring Semester. Students are required to get signatures from an instructor (if applicable), a club advisor (if applicable) and the department chair. http://www.lcc.edu/foundation/Microsoft%20Word%20-%205418C3F8.pdf
LCC Occupational Program Awards - Deadline for 2012-2013 - 1/27/12
The awards are offered for a maximum of five semesters over a period of two consecutive years. Renewal each semester is contingent upon the recipient meeting all award requirements. The Awards will cover up to $975 in tuition and fees each fall and spring semester and up to $340 for an optional summer semester. These amounts will cover approximately 12 billing hours plus partial fees in Fall and Spring Semesters and 4 billing hours plus partial fees in Summer Semester. An award recipient must:
- Be a citizen or permanent resident of the U.S.
- Reside in the LCC district.
- Be a high school graduate.
- Pursue an approved LCC Health or Human Services Degree (occupational curriculum).
- Have a cumulative high school grade point average of at least 3.0.

Michigan Dept of Community Health - Nurse Scholarship Program
These monies are allocated through the LCC Foundation Office. When monies become available, information will be distributed to all students who have been formally accepted into the nursing program, and are currently enrolled in nursing (NURS) courses. This usually takes place in the fall of each academic year.

In addition to the application, interested students need to submit a personal statement, two letters of reference and a copy of their transcripts. The completed application should be delivered directly to the Foundation office at 8021- Foundation. The physical address is the 2nd floor of the HCC building (just north of Dart Auditorium). Please encourage those students who will be selected in May for the Fall Nursing class to apply.
