
Personal Computing, Network, & Telecommunication Services (PCNTS)
The PC, network, and telecom technicians at Lansing Community College are dedicated to providing our students with the best possible technological experience by ensuring the preparation, maintenance, and repair of both desktop and laptop computers, at all of our campus locations. We also provide prompt and friendly assistance to faculty and staff who require solutions to their technological challenges. We are continually working together, alongside the Help Desk, to provide our technology users with the best level of technical support possible.
Hours of operation:
| Monday - Thursday | 7:00 to 8:30 |
| Friday | 7:00 to 5:00 |
| Saturday | 8:00 to 12:00 (MC only) |
Areas of Operation:
| Desktop Support | Desktop support specialists prepare, configure, deploy, maintain and repair all of LCC's traditional desktop model computers |
| Laptop Support | Laptop support specialists are responsible for the preparation, maintenance, and deployment of laptops to specific faculty and staff members; they are also responsible for maintaining the college's COWs (Computers On Wheels). |
| Networking | Network technicians maintain the effective operation of LCC's advanced network of IT hardware. |
| Telecommunications | The telecommunication techs at LCC provide VoIP unified communications across our various campuses and extension centers. |
