Students entering the 5th and 6th grades in the 2012 - 2013 school year and who meet the criteria set for this accelerated science and math program |

What: |
An involved study of Physics, Chemistry, Ecology, Nanotechnology, Biology, Math and Computer Science |

When: |
August 6-10, 2012 |

Where: |
The Challenges take place on LCC's Main Campus as well as within the Arts and Sciences Building |
|
Why: |
The Challenges are designed to stimulate the accelerated learner in science, mathematics, and computer science |
** Our weeklong format limits seating.
** In case of high enrollment, 6th grade students will be given
priority.

Registration Information:
Cost: $350.00 for the one-week session
Please make checks payable to:
Lansing Community College
Application Materials: Most current grade report (for the applying student), teacher evaluation form, and student application
Deadline: All application materials and payments must be received by June 1, 2012
Note: checks will not be deposited until application decisions have been made. Should your child not be accepted, all application materials, including the check, will be returned to you
Science and Math Challenges Check List
- A completed Teacher Evaluation Form
- A copy of your most recent Report Card
- Registration fee of $350.00 in the form of a check made payable to Lansing Community College
