
Youth Programs: STEM CHALLENGES
For
grades 6 - 8 - June 17 -20, 2013
- Students will participate in morning sessions of intense Lego Robotics with Robert Hipple. Students will have the chance to construct and program their own machines with expert guidance while developing their problem solving and team building skills. Students will also be able to talk with advanced students who have participated in state and national robotics competitions. Monday and Tuesday afternoons will consist of advanced mathematical problem solving and critical thinking exercises with Omar Bjarki. Wednesday and Thursday afternoons will be spent with David Shane, delving matter, energy and their interaction with the study of Physics.
STEM Challenges sessions are taught by Lansing Community College faculty.

Checks will not be deposited until application decisions have been made. Should your child not be accepted, all application materials, including the check, will be returned to you.
