AUTOMOTIVE SERVICE TECHNICIANS NATIONWIDE
If you've always had an interest in repairing cars and trucks, it is time to
get the credentials you need to become a:

Your enrollment in one of LCC's automotive areas of study will prepare you

Automotive Technology

From automotive service technician to service manager
to maybe owning your own repair shop, it all begins with the academic
and career training available to you in the Automotive Technology
Program at Lansing Community College. This area of study offers a
variety of certificate and associate degree programs designed to provide
you with the latest in practical, hands-on coursework based on current
industry standards. |
High Performance/Motorsports
 |
Are you interested in racing?
Do you like working on high performance cars? If so, the High
Performance Technology/Motorsports program at LCC is for you! In this
program, students have the opportunity to build high performance engines
using state of the art technology and then test them on an engine dyno.
Students will diagnose and tune vehicles for improved performance on our
chassis dyno and gain hands-on experience building a race car chassis.
Certificate and associate degree programs are offered. |
Alternative Fuel Vehicles
 |
If you are interested in advanced vehicle
technologies, enroll in our courses to learn about: biofuels, hybrids,
compressed natural gas, propane, electric vehicles, hydrogen, fuel cells
and how these fuels or technologies are used in vehicles. Lansing
Community College offers an associate degree and/or a certificate in
Advanced Vehicle Technologies. |
